Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre (AD Mobility) has announced major road closures and diversions, urging motorists to plan their journeys.

Affected areas include Saadiyat Island, Al Ain, and Riyadh City.

A three-month closure on Jacques Chirac Street in Saadiyat Island, which took effect from Saturday, March 29, will continue till Monday, June 30, 2025.

The authority shared the update on X, advising drivers to follow detour signs and drive with caution.

Al Ain diversion

A traffic diversion has also been scheduled for Nahyan The First Street (Zakhir Roundabout) in Al Ain. The diversion will start at 12:00AM on Wednesday (today), April 2, and continue until 5:00PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Traffic signals activated

Additionally, new signalised intersections have been activated in Riyadh City, improving traffic management in the area.

Motorist advisory

AD Mobility has released maps highlighting affected routes. Red-marked lanes indicate closures, while green-marked lanes will remain open.

Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and use alternative routes.
